A fun summer snack for kids. Smashed frozen bananas topped with yogurt, peanut butter and sprinkles

Have you seen the frozen smashed banana craze? It’s a fun way to make a simple and healthy snack for the kids.
And they’ll love getting involved in helping too.

The first step is to chop a banana into slices.
Place them or a baking tray or plate lined with parchment paper.
Use a glass to press down on the banana slices to flatten them.

Top with yogurt and then add a small dollop of peanut butter.
I find it easier to melt the peanut butter in the microwave first.

Finish off with some sprinkles and freeze for 2 hours until solid.

Serve up straight away to a really fun summer snack for the kids.

These Smashed Banana & Yogurt Bites are best eaten the same day that they are made but they will keep in the freezer for 2 days.
