1. Quarter the cabbage, remove the core, and slice it into strips.

2. Add the cabbage strips to a large, non-stick pot or skillet and add the water. Bring to a boil, cover with a tight lid, and cook over low heat for 7-10 minutes (depending on how soft you want the cabbage to be).
